Easter Service

Today, our Minster Junior children gathered in The Minster Church to reflect on this very special period of the Christian Calendar.

It is at this very special moment that we remember the story of Jesus and what he sacrificed for the good of mankind. How Jesus gave his life and then rose again. Here are some quotes from the bible.

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”

Matthew 28:5-6

He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’

Luke 24:6-7

“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.”

Mark 16:6

We took some pictures from our service, which can be seen in the gallery below. Please click on the thumbnails for a larger view. We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy Easter and we look forward to seeing you all again safe and refreshed for the new term ahead.
