Dear Parents and Carers,

I am writing to let you know, that the OFSTED inspection at the Minster Junior School this week, was extremely successful, despite the rigour of the new framework, and we are really pleased with the result. The Junior school children, did themselves proud as did all the staff-I feel truly privileged to be Executive Headteacher of both The Minster schools, with such wonderful staff, children and parents/carers and Governors.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to tell anyone the specific outcomes, until the final report is published.

The process is now as follows:

• a draft report will be sent to me within 18 working days after a rigorous quality assurance process
• I and the SDBE MAT then have 5 working days to ensure factual accuracy and return with any necessary factual corrections
• we will then get the final report, within 30 working days after a comprehensive quality assurance process by OFSTED – so hopefully before the Easter Holidays.
• as soon as I get the final report, it will be emailed to you and also put on both the schools’ websites.
