The School Day

The school day for Year 3 to Year 6 pupils starts at 8:45am and ends at 3:15pm.

• Year 3 & 4 will have playtime from 10:45 am to 11.00 am
• Year 5 & 6 will have playtime from 11:00 am to 11:15 am
• Lunchtimes are staggered but each child has a break for 1 hour.

Children are in school for 6 hours and 30 minutes a day (Monday to Friday), during term time.

This totals 32 hours and 30 minutes in a typical week.

This equates to 380 sessions or 190 days a year
