Year 5 reading The Odyssey
Children loved reading The Odyssey. This adventure was filled with danger, magic and discovery. They emphasised with the hero Odysseus on his long journey home, where he met strange creatures, powerful gods and exciting challenges. The story kept children curious about what will happen next, from escaping the Cyclops to sailing past the Sirens.
Year 5 wrote their own epic stories based on The Odyssey.
