Year 5 Maths and English

Year 5 have had a very busy week. In English, children have been exploring the fabulous book “Hidden Figures” where they have been role playing and writing in the first person as one of the inspirational women from this true life story.

In maths, children have persevered with long multiplication and short division, using various methods to solve their calculations.

Well done to Swans for completing their weeks of swimming; children made impressive progress each day.
