Ospreys learn about “The suffragette movement”

Yesterday our historians stepped back in time to explore women’s positions in Britain in the 1900s and the growing campaign for women’s rights to vote.
The suffragette movement was a militant campaign in the early 20th century that fought for women’s right to vote in the United Kingdom. The children explored different approaches taken to tackle this by the suffragists and suffragettes, before working together to create a timeline of the campaign.
